Included in every engagement

Security that starts with a risk assessment, not a roster.

That assessment shapes what comes after it: the site operations manual, the officers selected for the post, and the reporting you can check yourself. All of it is part of every engagement, at every site.

  • Site risk assessment

Written recommendations before the first shift.

  • Dedicated account manager and supervisor

Two named contacts, on hand around the clock.

  • Site operations manual and safety plan

Duties, responsibilities and emergency procedures, in writing.

  • Real-time reporting

Deputy sign-on and the Uniguard portal, open 24/7.

Why Blue Shield

Officers who are licensed, checked and trained beyond the minimum.

Over 30 years’ combined security and military experience across the management team, applied to every post we staff.

  • Licensed and police-checked

Every officer is licensed under Victorian private security regulations and passes a National Police Check before appointment to a site.

  • Trained past the industry line

Officers complete a 12-week probationary training period and must pass an industry examination with a 100% score. All are first-aid, CPR and AED qualified, and fire warden and emergency evacuation trained.

  • Presentable and identifiable

Every officer trains in presentation and people skills before deployment, and works in full uniform, with photo identification your visitors can see.

  • Paid properly, so they stay

Officers are paid in line with the Security Services Industry Award and take part in a staff incentive program. Many are long-serving.

Sample — to be replaced

Ask the client to be specific: which site it was, how quickly an officer got there when something happened, and what the supervisor told them while it was happening.

Sample — to be replaced

Ask what reliability looked like: shifts covered without being chased, the same officers on site week after week, reports that arrived when they were promised.
